Panorama yacht Saphir was christened on 4 May 2012 by Miss Switzerland in the presence of 120 VIP guests, and welcomed with champagne, streamers and ships’ horns.

The 120 VIP guests and representatives of the press look back on a christening ceremony of superlatives. Construction noises and welding work greeted the guests on arrival in the shipyard hall. A black curtain covered the construction site of the panorama yacht. The yacht was unveiled loudly and ceremoniously with fireworks and music.
 

The invitees enjoyed the aperitif and dessert on the lake. The unforgettable conclusion in the Lucerne lake basin – a gigantic fireworks display encompassing the whole of the Seebrücke bridge – brought the event to a festive close.
 

Furrer Events worked alongside the SGV navigation company on the production of the christening ceremony, including its design, organisation and production on land and water.
