The construction training centre Campus Sursee celebrated its 40th anniversary in radiant sunshine with attractions throughout the entire complex. There was plenty to experience over the three open days!
The signposted tour guided around 7,000 visitors through the impressive grounds with competition questions. Guests got the chance to operate excavators and cranes, share in the excitement of the Swiss and European Crane Operator Cup, complete a ride-on mower parcours, test e-bikes, work with driftwood and plenty more. A SkyWorker trailer crane offered guests a bird’s-eye view of the complex from 40 metres. And the range of culinary treats in store left nothing to be desired.
The open days came to a stirring finale with comedian Emil Steinberger, a rousing night of rock ’n’ roll and country, the children’s concert with Swiss band Schtärneföifi, association presentations and folk performances.
Furrer Events provided organisational support and ensured smooth operations on the event days.
